Introduction to Unearth 22C
- A Preview of future relics

A world where disposable products
and waste are overflowing,
what kind of legacy can we leave
for future generations?

Did past generations ever think that the things
they discarded would one day be seen as relics
by future generations?

Today, South Korea is facing a world full of
disposable products and plastic waste.

Our future generations' museums may not
contain relics of beautiful artifacts like
white porcelain or blue-and-white pottery,
but rather, they may display discarded plastic
wrappers and the remains of disposable packaging.

“Are We Doomed to Pass
Our Waste to Future Generations?”

With this question in mind, Frosch,
photographer MJ KIM, and Frosch brand model
Hyeja Kim came together to reflect on this issue.

Instead of merely leaving waste behind, the goal
was to recreate a future museum where waste
will be viewed as relics, encouraging everyone to
rethink their perception of waste.

If this happens, Frosch, a brand that creates cleaning
products from plant-based ingredients, will be making
a small but meaningful contribution to repaying
its debt to nature.

As you explore this conceptual exhibition of future relics,
we hope it will serve as a moment of reflection on
what we should leave behind for future generations.
